Conditions

Receive Personalized Asthma Care

We provide a hands-on approach to treating adult and childhood asthma and educating you on asthma attack prevention strategies. If you or your child is suffering from asthma symptoms, come in today for a lung / spirometry test to diagnose asthma. Although there is no cure yet, you can find relief from asthma.

Find Relief For Seasonal Allergies

Have you noticed that your allergies flare up in the fall, winter, spring, or summer? Seasonal allergies can be caused by triggers like mold and pollen. If you’ve experienced severe seasonal allergy symptoms, Langford Allergy can provide relief though immunotherapy, medication, and other allergy treatment options.

Stop Suffering From Hay Fever

Hay fever, also called allergic rhinitis, is often caused by pollen but can also be triggered by common indoor allergens such as pet dander, mold, dust mites, and cockroach particles. Hay fever is often characterized by irritating symptoms in the nose, throat, eyes, ears, skin, and roof of the mouth. If you are experiencing hay fever symptoms, let us help you become symptom-free.

Don’t Fear Food Allergies

Food allergies are becoming more common, especially in children. If you are experiencing food allergy symptoms, it is critical to determine whether you have an allergy or a food intolerance. Dr. Langford can properly diagnose food allergies through a skin test, blood test, or food challenge. After your food allergy is accurately diagnosed, he will work with you to determine the best treatment plan.

Eye Allergy Care

Allergic conjunctivitis, or eye allergies, occurs when an allergen irritates the eye. Seasonal allergens such as pollen and mold spores are the most common causes of allergic conjunctivitis. If your eyes are swollen, red, or itchy during the same seasons every year, you may have eye allergies. Schedule an appointment to have your allergies diagnosed and treated.

Soothe Irritating Skin Allergies

At Langford Allergy, we help patients find relief and answers for their itchy, dry, red skin. There are a variety of conditions associated with skin allergies, including eczema / atopic dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, hives / urticaria, and angioedema. Dr. Langford can diagnose and determine the best treatment plan for your skin allergies and will work closely with your dermatologist.

Diagnose Allergies & Asthma

Allergy Testing

In order to offer you the best allergy treatment, we perform allergy testing to discover the allergens that affect you. If you are experiencing allergy symptoms, we provide skin tests, blood tests, and food challenges to determine which allergens you are reacting to. Once we determine your allergies, Dr. Langford will discuss the proper treatments for you.

Asthma Testing

We provide asthma lung testing to diagnose asthma and determine if your asthma treatment plan is working appropriately. This test is highly successful in diagnosing asthma in both children and adults. Once Dr. Langford performs the asthma test, he can talk with you about treatments options as well as how to manage your asthma and prevent asthma attacks.

Allergy Treatments

Immunotherapy

Immunotherapy (also called allergy shots) is the only method that treats the cause of allergies in children and adults. The allergy shot is given in the arm and contains a small dose of the allergen. Our office also provides rush immunotherapy as well as sublingual immunotherapy. We offer convenient allergy shot hours at four locations.
